Draft Pros: Season 41 Mock Draft V1

by xXunderoathzXx | 1 week ago | 0 Comments

Hey everyone and welcome to the mock for the 1st draft of Madden 20! With the changes to scouting and player overalls, this cycle will bring a new feel and challenge for our draft coverage team. Our team is excited and working hard to bring the MBL the best draft coverage possible! The MBL season 41 draft class will bring us some of the league’s future stars and busts. Who takes the first 60 overall? Who finds their next X-factor player? Only time (and 500 downs) will tell, but this is our best guess on how the 1st round will shake out!

“Luke Windsor has a big arm and should find himself in a great situation with a talented receiving core in Tampa.”

Description

1

Raiders

Calvin Vaughn

WR

The Raiders somehow managed to pass for less than 100 yards per game, Vaughn would be a great weapon to pair with Brown. He should provide deep threat play making ability.

2

Dolphins

Malik Alridge

CB

This team allowed 29 points per game and was constantly gashed. Aldrige would be a good fit for the man blitz heavy Dolphins as he is the best man cover corner of the class.

3

Buccaneers

Luke Windsor

QB

Is Mason Rudolph the QB of the future in Tampa? We think not. Luke Windsor has a big arm and should find himself in a great situation with a talented receiving core in Tampa.

4

49ers

Skyler Bryan

OLB

Rumor has it the 49ers are looking to trade back, but if they stay, they need a pass coverage OLB to replace Malcolm Smith. Bryan is primed to fill that position.

5

Giants

A.J. Chapman

S

Bethea is 35 and the Giants should definitely look to find Peppers a competent partner. Chapman is clearly the best safety in this class and is a day one starter.

6

Broncos

Deion Steveson

DT

The Broncos are in need of a nose tackle to anchor their 3-4 scheme. The Vanderbilt product would fit in nicely and was a terror for SEC opponents all year.

7

Steelers (From Colts)

Emmett Dwyer

QB

Big Ben will be 38 and the Steelers should look to the future with this surprise early pick gained from the Colts. He is the clear 2nd best QB in this class.

8

Lions

P.J. Rodgers

CB

Josh Norman will be 32 and this Lions team could use some new blood at corner. Rodgers is too talented to fall much further, and the Lions should happily scoop him up.

9

Browns

Brooks Carney

OT

This very talented Browns offense had an underwhelming season and struggled with the 26th pass offense. Grabbing some tackle talent to protect Baker should be a priority.

10

Saints

Frank Sweet

QB

A team always surprises and takes an unexpected QB early (see Daniel Jones). With 2 1st round picks, the Saints will likely be itching to find the Drew Brees replacement and may gamble here.

“The young Arizona State tackle would be an investment in keeping the newly signed Wentz upright and healthy with his pass blocking talent.”

Description

11

Steelers

Irvin Kelly

OLB

T.J. Watt needs a friend and Irvin Kelly should be a threat to attack the QB early and often in his career. There is some definite interest as the Steelers have been scouting the UCF product.

12

Rams

Joey Luther

DT

This talented defense was somehow the 30th ranked unit last season. Taking Luther should help free up Donald to keep terrorizing opposing QBs.

13

Eagles

Kirland Highsmith

OT

Peters will be 38 and may very well call it a career after a disappointing 7-9 season. The young Arizona State tackle would be an investment in keeping the newly signed Wentz upright and healthy with his pass blocking talent.

14

Redskins

Vinny Downey

OG

The Redskins have a pretty talented O-line but a major hole at LG. Downey could step in and become an instant starter and help Haskins grow on a solid rookie campaign.

15

Cardinals

Hudston Talley

DE

The Clemson product would be an absolute steal at this position. He is an elite run blocker and a perfect fit for the talent starved Cardinals defense ranked 32nd in total yards.

16

Bengals

Denard Session

OT

This Bengals team employs one of the worst offensive line units in the MBL. Sessions would be a plug and play guy to help Cincy continue the rebuild.

17

Bills

Tyson Aurbrey

DE

In order to improve their 28th ranked defense, the Bills should continue to build in the trenches with the Notre Dame man who should fill in nicely for 32 YO Jerry Hughes.

18

Titans

Mike Melvin

OT

After handing Mariota a monster contract, the Titans should make an investment in the future of their oft injured QB with a solid pass blocking talent.

19

Chargers

Jayden Frost

DE

This is a very talented team, but soon to be 31 YO Melvin Ingram could use an understudy. Frost has the ability to impact both the pass and rush games and is only 21.

20

Seahawks

Marquise Knox

DE

After trading Frank Clark, the Seahawks have never been able to replace his production. Knox is much needed to generate pressure for the league’s 31st pass defense.

21

Raiders (From Bears)

Bernard Moran

DE

With their 2nd pick the Raider should look to find a DE to pair with last year’s 1st rounder Clelin Ferrell. The former Hurricane should help improve the league’s worst run defense.

“UGA has a recent history of half back talent and the elusive Holloway is no different. The thought of a Lamar and Holloway read option would give coordinators fits.”

Description

22

Jaguars

Josh Thorpe

OLB

The Jaguars LB core took a major hit when they traded Myles Jack. I think they take a step back in the right direction with the 21 YO Virginia product.

23

Vikings

Norman Welch

OT

Welch should be a pretty easy pick for a Vikings team looking to improve their poor offensive line play. The run blocking prospect can help open up holes for the run heavy Vikings.

24

Cowboys

Tevin Ross

DE

The Cowboys roster is extremely talented but could use a pass rushing option opposite Lawrence. Ross should help the Cowboys improve production from the RE position.

25

Chiefs

Drew McKillop

C

On paper, this offense is one of the most talented teams in the MBL. However, the offensive line could use an upgrade to keep Mahomes both upright and healthy.

26

Patriots

Moses Griffith

DE

The Patriots were surprisingly bottom 5 against the run. This run stopping specialist could be a breath of fresh air for an aging Patriots defense.

27

Jaguars (From Packers)

Quinn Hart

C

Hart is a versatile offensive lineman we could see slide into the starting spot at right guard currently occupied by soon-to-be 31 YO Clint Boling.

28

Panthers

Kendrick Worrell

WR

DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel are a fearsome duo but what else could this Panthers offense use? More speed. The speedster from Oregon could find a home in the slot for the Panthers offense that loves to stretch the field.

29

Ravens

Antwan Holloway

RB

This is not the Ravens biggest need, but Ingram will be 30. UGA has a recent history of half back talent and the elusive Holloway is no different. The thought of a Lamar and Holloway read option would give coordinators fits.

30

Saints (From Jets)

Eli Mullins

OLB

Demario Davis will be 31 and the Saints could use the 2nd of their 1st round picks on the run stopping specialist from Charleston Southern.

31

Falcons

Kyle Crowder

OT

Offensive line play should be prioritized in order to extend Matt Ryan’s career. Crowder can help accomplish this goal for a talented Falcons offense.

32

Colts (From Texans)

Adrian Daniels

DT

The pick acquired from their divisional rival would be well spent on the Texas Tech man. Daniels should help improve the league’s 30th ranked pass defense with great power moves.

Thanks to Jamie for the great graphics!
