First quarter of the season complete

Seahawks start off 4-0 after many doubted they would be a contending team. Its very early in the season but all things are looking up for Seattle. Lets talk about the weaknesses of the hawks, only two come to mind. The main one is the offense line, Wilson has been getting sacked left & right & if he wasnt elite at the QB position to make plays the team would be in trouble. The line is also the reason why the running game is looking average. The second weakness would have to be the defense line. ...[ Continue reading ]

Crazy Game Against the Falcons

The Seahawks knew the game against Atlanta was going to be the toughest so far and the game lived up to the hype. Out the gate Doug Baldwin & Julio Jones made some circus catches to set their teams up to score in the first half. In the 4th the Falcons had looked like they had the game won when Wilson threw a pick 6 with 3 minutes left in the game. Down by 10 Wilson marched his team down with a quick pace to get the touchdown to keep his team in it. Instead of kicking a onside kick Seahawks coach...[ Continue reading ]

Rookies off to a good start

Seahawks start off the season with a W but we are not about to crown the team yet. Instead lets talk about the two rookies who had a great game week 1. Tight end Clint Moore's first catch was a simple drag route but he bust it open for a 30 yard gain by breaking some huge tackles & capped off the first drive by catching his first touchdown of his young career. With him being 6'7 he will surely be targeted a lot in the redzone. Another rookie stand out is first round pick cornerback Spencer Berry...[ Continue reading ]

Are the Seahawks Good Enough...

The Seahawks barely missed the playoffs last season so are they taking a step back or foward this season? There was a lot of young talent added in the off season with the hawks making a trade to get RB Jordan Howard, drafting pretty well to get the oline some help & taking CB Saquon Berry with there first pick to make that secondary better. Veteran talent was also added with the signings off pass rusher Terrell Suggs & WR Chris Hogan. The team has to be coached up to get to where they want to go...[ Continue reading ]

Opening day for the Seahawks

First game against a tough opponent will always highlight your team's flaws & that was just the case when the Seahawks battled the Broncos. The Broncos struck first on the opening play of the game with a 75 yard touchdown throw to Thomas but that did not shake the hawks confidence. The offense answered back with a long drive that was capped off by a 1 yard touchdown run by Mike Davis. The defense was not at it's best Sunday giving up 381 passing yards but there were some bright spots. Rookie Sha...[ Continue reading ]
