Steelers defeated the Giants, 13-7. T. Rhodes delivered the touchdown pass that gave Pittsburgh enough offense to finish the job, and he paired it with 157 passing yards in an efficient outing. He found T. Higgins for 51 receiving yards, giving the Steelers a reliable target whenever they needed one. That combination was enough to push the Steelers to the win. The Giants had their moments in defeat behind G. Smith, who threw 1 touchdown pass and piled up 302 yards through the air. T. Franklin was the centerpiece of that effort with 137 receiving yards, giving New York a consistent source of production. Even with that passing game, the Giants were left chasing the result rather than claiming it.
