Chiefs defeated the Chargers, 44-27. P.Mahomes threw 5 touchdown passes and X.Worthy finished with 138 receiving yards as the Chiefs leaned on the passing game. The Chiefs kept control as the night wore on. P.Mahomes also finished with 275 passing yards to keep the Chiefs's offense moving. The Chiefs controlled the flow once the offense found rhythm. M.Threatt threw 3 touchdown passes and R.Williams finished with 116 receiving yards in the loss. The Chargers kept it close, but time ran out on the comeback bid. M.Threatt still produced 281 passing yards for the Chargers despite the result. The Chargers found some production, but not enough stops to change the outcome.
