Commanders defeated the Eagles, 42-41. J.Daniels set the tone for Washington’s attack with 313 passing yards and 1 touchdown pass, directing an offense that kept finding answers. C.Cooley Jr was a major part of that work with 126 receiving yards, while D.Jackson added 87 more to keep the Commanders moving. That aerial production gave Washington the edge it needed in a game that demanded it. Philadelphia had plenty to say in the loss behind J.Allen, who threw 3 touchdown passes and finished with 270 passing yards. C.Philadelphia did his part to keep the Eagles within striking distance, turning 2 of those scoring throws into touchdowns. The Eagles generated enough offense to threaten throughout, but the Commanders ultimately came away with the win.
