Patriots defeated the Jets, 31-28. C.Teal drove the Patriots with 4 touchdown passes and 316 yards through the air, giving New England the kind of production that held up all day. B.Shaw was his biggest answer, turning his 122 receiving yards into a 2-touchdown outing that gave the passing game its edge. Together, they supplied the firepower the Patriots needed to finish on top. The Jets still found meaningful production in the loss, with D.Maye throwing 1 touchdown pass and finishing with 127 yards. A.Escobar chipped in 46 receiving yards as New York searched for enough offense to match the pace. It was a competitive effort, but the Jets were left chasing the bigger plays the Patriots created.
