Giants defeated the Commanders, 35-24. E. Struggles drove the Giants with 330 passing yards and 3 touchdown passes, giving New York the kind of command it needed throughout the night. T. Johnson was his most dangerous connection, piling up 165 receiving yards and stretching the defense whenever the Giants needed a spark. That pairing gave the Giants their edge and kept the offense in control. Washington still found production in the loss, led by J. Daniels, who threw 1 touchdown pass and finished with 237 passing yards. S. Moss added 77 receiving yards to help keep the Commanders moving. But the Giants’ sharper work through the air proved too much to overcome.
