Dolphins defeated the Lions, 48-36. J.Milton III drove the victory with 4 touchdown passes and 407 yards through the air, giving Miami the kind of production that kept pressure on Detroit throughout. S.Jankins was at the center of that push, turning his night into 2 touchdowns and 156 receiving yards as the Dolphins consistently found their most dangerous answers in the passing game. That combination gave the Dolphins the edge whenever the game demanded another big play. The Lions still produced plenty in defeat behind A.Richardson Sr, who threw 2 touchdown passes and finished with 260 yards. C.Nash supplied a major chunk of that work with 134 receiving yards, helping Detroit answer often enough to stay threatening. Even so, the Lions were left chasing a Miami offense that simply delivered more finishing power.
