Vikings defeated the Patriots, 45-35. J.McCarthy powered the Vikings with 4 touchdown passes and 313 yards, setting the tone for an offense that consistently found its playmakers. A.Escobar turned two of those chances into touchdowns, giving Minnesota a dependable finisher in the passing game. R.Clayton added 185 receiving yards, providing the kind of big production that kept the Vikings in command. The Patriots answered with plenty of offense of their own in defeat, as D.Maye threw 4 touchdown passes and finished with 277 yards. T.Felton was his most dangerous target, coming away with 3 touchdown catches to keep New England threatening throughout. B.Tipper also chipped in with 95 receiving yards in a strong passing display that was not enough to change the result.
