Steelers defeated the Buccaneers, 42-35. B. Johnson Jr. drove the victory with 5 touchdown passes and 416 yards through the air, giving Pittsburgh the kind of relentless offense that never let up. D. Culp was his most devastating target, turning his chances into 3 touchdowns and 155 receiving yards. P. Burress Jr. added 139 receiving yards, giving the Steelers another dangerous option whenever the passing game stretched the field. The Buccaneers had plenty of firepower in defeat behind K. Stewart Jr., who threw 3 touchdown passes and piled up 433 yards. Tampa Bay kept answering with big plays, but its production still wound up as part of a strong performance in a loss. Stewart’s night ensured the pressure stayed on Pittsburgh throughout, even as the Steelers’ aerial attack proved just a little more decisive.
