Commanders defeated the Cowboys, 34-31. Jayden Daniels drove Washington’s offense with 330 passing yards and 1 touchdown pass, giving the Commanders the edge through the air. Mike Johnson was his biggest threat, finishing with 131 receiving yards and helping stretch the field in key moments. That production gave Washington enough firepower to finish on top. Dallas answered with B. Underwood throwing 2 touchdown passes while passing for 180 yards, a strong offensive showing in defeat. CeeDee Lamb added 71 receiving yards and remained central to the Cowboys’ push. Even with those contributions, the Cowboys came up just short against a Commanders offense that found a little more when it mattered.
