Jaguars defeated the Texans, 56-42. D.Lagway gave Jacksonville a steady hand through the air, throwing 1 touchdown pass and finishing with 303 yards. B.Strange was a major factor in that production, piling up 137 receiving yards and giving the Jaguars a reliable threat throughout the game. The passing game did enough to keep the pressure on and push the Jaguars to the win. Houston had plenty to show for its effort in defeat, with C.Stroud throwing 2 touchdown passes while piling up 369 yards. J.Nix turned those chances into points with 2 touchdown catches, and M.Bowman added 177 receiving yards in a strong performance that kept the Texans dangerous. Even in a loss, the Texans generated enough offense to make this one a fight.
