Abilities
Reinforcement
The game's top defenders excel in all situations. When they enter the zone, this ability increases their chance of defeating run blocks, and disrupting catches via tackles.
Mid Zone KO
Defenders with this ability have an improved chance to force catch knockouts, a longer knockout window, and react quicker in any mid-field zone coverage, less than 20 yards from the LoS inside the numbers and 10-20 outside. Upgrades with ZCV, PRC, and AWR.
Secure Tackler
Defenders with this ability have an increased chance to avoid fakeouts. Upgrades with TAK and PUR.
Flat Zone KO
Defenders with this ability have an improved chance to force catch knockouts, a longer knockout window, and react quicker in any flat zone coverage, less than 10 yards from the LoS and outside the hash marks. Upgrades with ZCV, PRC, and ACC.
Zone Hawk
Zone Hawk defenders lock down a part of the field. When they enter the zone, this ability increases the rate of interceptions while in zone coverage.
Medium Route KO
Defenders with this ability have a slightly improved chance to succeed at catch tackle knockouts in man-to-man versus medium routes 10-20 yards from the LoS. Upgrades with MCV, COD, and ACC.
Lurker
Defenders with this ability can make spectacular interceptions while lurking in zones, and are more likely to attempt and succeed at diving swats/catches. Upgrades with COD, ZCV, and SPD.
Film Study
Defenders with this ability will have full vision of plays the offense has run via coach cam after the play has been called 5 times each quarter. Upgrades with ZCV, MCV, and PRC.
