Seahawks defeated the Chiefs, 24-23. J. Milroe drove the Seahawks with 306 passing yards and 2 touchdown passes, setting the tone for an offense that found its edge through J. Smith-Njigba. Smith-Njigba was the game’s defining target, turning his big night into 3 touchdown catches while piling up 187 receiving yards. That connection gave Seattle the production it needed to come out on top. The Chiefs had plenty of firepower in the loss, led by P. Mahomes, who threw 3 touchdown passes and passed for 287 yards. R. Cox answered with a major performance of his own, catching 2 touchdowns and finishing with 145 receiving yards. Kansas City’s offense kept pushing behind those two, but the Seahawks made just enough plays to finish the job.
