Vikings defeated the Bengals, 51-19. J.McCarthy powered the victory with 5 touchdown passes and 368 yards, setting the tone for a Minnesota offense that finished drives with authority. J.Addison was at the center of it, turning 148 receiving yards into a 2-touchdown day and giving McCarthy a relentless downfield option. The Vikings’ passing game kept the pressure on throughout and gave the result its shape. Cincinnati still found production through J.Burrow, who threw 3 touchdown passes and piled up 317 yards in defeat. J.Chase delivered 2 touchdown catches to provide the Bengals’ biggest answers, while C.Ferrara added 134 receiving yards as Burrow continued to move the ball. It was a strong aerial effort in a loss, but Minnesota’s firepower proved too much to match.
