Bears defeated the Packers, 28-22. Chicago leaned on C.Williams, who threw 1 touchdown pass and finished with 165 passing yards. Q.Johnston chipped in 51 receiving yards, giving the Bears enough production through the air to stay in front. The Bears did not need a huge statistical edge everywhere; they got timely work from their quarterback and just enough support around him to close out the win. Green Bay had its answers in a losing effort, especially from C.Schultz, who threw 2 touchdown passes and piled up 237 yards. G.Hartman added 65 receiving yards as the Packers kept pressure on throughout. Even with that production, the Packers were left chasing the game’s final result rather than changing it.
