Patriots defeated the Jaguars, 19-15. N. Jones led the way for New England with 284 passing yards and 2 touchdown passes, giving the Patriots the edge through the air. D. Metcalf provided a reliable target and finished with 80 receiving yards, helping keep the offense moving. That production was enough to separate New England in a game where its passing attack made the difference. Jacksonville had its share of answers in the loss, with T. Lawrence throwing 1 touchdown pass while finishing with 145 passing yards. J. McDaniel chipped in with 57 receiving yards and helped the Jaguars stay within striking distance. Even so, the Jaguars could not match the Patriots' efficiency through the air.
