Chargers defeated the Bengals, 19-13. J. Herbert paced the Chargers with 324 passing yards, giving their offense a steady edge through the air. J. Faulk was his most productive target, finishing with 125 receiving yards and helping keep the Bengals on the defensive. K. Lambert-Smith added 99 receiving yards, giving Los Angeles another reliable option as it did enough to secure the win. Cincinnati answered with production of its own in defeat, led by S. Issacs and his 221 passing yards. The Bengals found room to move the ball, but the Chargers were able to stay in front. Even in a loss, Issacs kept Cincinnati competitive and gave the game some late tension.
