Colts defeated the 49ers, 55-13. The Colts imposed their will with a sharp, authoritative performance that left little doubt about the result. They controlled the day from a position of strength and never allowed the game to swing back into question. It was the kind of complete effort that showed why Indianapolis finished on top. There were productive receiving efforts even in a one-sided finish. E.Bowles finished with 56 receiving yards, while L.McDowell added 67 receiving yards. The 49ers found some individual production, but they could not keep pace with the Colts.
