Lions defeated the Vikings, 48-7. T. Lance drove Detroit with a sharp, efficient outing, throwing 4 touchdown passes while piling up 295 yards through the air. E. Fusaro was his most dangerous finisher, turning his chances into 2 touchdown catches, and C. Dike stretched the field all day with 233 receiving yards. That blend of explosive downfield production and finishing ability gave the Lions complete control. Minnesota’s best answer came from M. Daisuke, who passed for 175 yards and threw 1 touchdown pass in a losing effort. Even with that production, the Vikings never found enough to match Detroit’s pressure or pace. Fusaro’s scoring touch and Lance’s command left little margin for a comeback.
