Saints defeated the Dolphins, 20-17. A.Richardson Sr led the Saints with 193 yards passing and 2 touchdown throws, giving New Orleans the kind of efficient production it needed in a close game. A.Aiken chipped in 65 receiving yards as a reliable piece of that attack. The Saints leaned on that connection to create enough offense and hold the upper hand. The Dolphins answered with a solid effort in defeat, as R.Hood passed for 153 yards and T.Horton contributed 65 receiving yards. Miami stayed competitive behind that production and made the Saints work throughout. Even so, the sharper work from A.Richardson Sr through the air proved to be the difference.
