Thunderbirds defeated the Desperados, 28-27. R.Anthony drove the Thunderbirds with 269 passing yards and 4 touchdown passes, giving the offense the finishing touch it needed in a razor-thin win. M.MacDonald turned into a prime target in the red zone, hauling in 2 touchdowns, while J.Waddle added 90 receiving yards to keep the attack moving. Together, they gave the Thunderbirds enough firepower to come out on top. The Desperados had their own answers in a strong performance that just fell short. B.Roethlisberger threw for 164 yards and 2 touchdowns, and D.Metcalf matched that scoring punch with 2 touchdown catches. Even in defeat, the Desperados showed they could trade blows with a high-powered offense.
