Chiefs defeated the Giants, 19-16. P.Mahomes threw 2 touchdown passes and finished with 216 yards, giving the Chiefs enough production through the air to come away with the win. J.Palmer added 78 receiving yards and helped keep Kansas City on schedule as the offense found just enough finishing power. That combination carried the Chiefs in a game that never offered much margin for error. The Giants answered with a strong effort in defeat from J.Dart, who passed for 229 yards. J.Hyatt was his most dangerous option, finishing with 109 receiving yards and supplying much of New York’s punch through the air. The Giants produced enough to stay in it, but the Chiefs made the decisive plays to close it out.
