Chargers defeated the Cowboys, 41-35. Justin Herbert drove the win with 319 yards and 5 touchdown passes, giving Los Angeles the kind of passing punch that held up all night. Ladd McConkey turned into a finishing target with 2 touchdown catches, and Herbert’s efficiency kept the Chargers in control whenever they needed an answer. It was a sharp, forceful offensive performance built around Herbert’s command of the game. Dallas had plenty to show in the loss behind Dak Prescott, who threw for 287 yards and 4 touchdowns to keep pressure on the Chargers. J. Blue found the end zone twice, giving the Cowboys a dangerous counterpunch through the air. Even so, Prescott’s productive night ultimately came up on the wrong side of the result.
