Titans defeated the Chiefs, 34-16. C. Ward led the way for Tennessee, throwing 2 touchdown passes and piling up 243 yards through the air. He had a reliable target in C. Ridley, who turned his chances into 116 receiving yards and gave the Titans a consistent edge in the passing game. That combination gave Tennessee the production it needed to control the matchup and finish with a decisive win. Kansas City still found offense through P. Mahomes, who threw 2 touchdown passes and finished with 194 yards. X. Worthy provided the biggest spark in the passing game with 89 receiving yards, giving the Chiefs a threat even as they played from behind. It was a productive showing in stretches, but the Chiefs could not match the sharper work Tennessee got from Ward and Ridley.
