Browns defeated the Patriots, 56-24. T.Green powered the Browns with 6 touchdown passes, turning a prolific day through the air into the engine of the victory. He also piled up 308 yards, giving Cleveland the kind of steady production that kept the Patriots on the defensive throughout. The Browns were at their best when Green pressed the issue and finished drives with touchdown throws. The Patriots still found offense in the loss behind D.Maye, who threw 3 touchdown passes and passed for 371 yards. New England generated its share of big moments through the air, and Maye’s production gave the Patriots something to answer with even as the game tilted away. It was a strong statistical performance in defeat, but the Browns’ finishing power made the difference.
