Lions defeated the Vikings, 56-17. D.Washington drove Detroit’s attack with a huge day through the air, turning his chances into 2 touchdowns and piling up 188 receiving yards. His production gave the Lions a clear edge and helped turn their offense into the story of the game. Detroit kept finding its most dangerous target, and Washington delivered every time it mattered. Minnesota still had a bright spot in J.Jefferson, who finished with 96 receiving yards in a losing effort. The Vikings had moments of resistance, but they could not match the pressure created by Washington’s big-play output. Jefferson gave them a threatening presence, yet the Lions controlled the day with the more decisive production.
