Chiefs defeated the Dolphins, 35-28. N.Newberry drove the Kansas City attack with 464 passing yards and 3 touchdown passes, giving the Chiefs the firepower they needed all afternoon. X.Worthy was his biggest answer, finishing with 176 receiving yards and catching 2 touchdowns. That connection gave Kansas City its edge whenever it needed a finishing touch. Miami had plenty to offer in the loss behind A.Richardson Sr, who threw 2 touchdown passes and passed for 290 yards. J.Soto kept the Dolphins threatening with 211 receiving yards and gave their offense a dangerous counterpunch. Even so, the Chiefs had the stronger finishing production through the air and came away with the win.
