Steelers defeated the Golden Eagles, 30-24. J.Mac guided the Steelers with 214 yards and 2 touchdown passes, giving their offense the production it needed to finish on top. He supplied the scoring throws that kept the Steelers in front. That work through the air was central to the victory. The Golden Eagles had plenty to show in the loss, as D.Pearson threw for 222 yards and 3 touchdown passes. He kept the pressure on and helped fuel a strong offensive response. Even with that output, the Golden Eagles were unable to match the Steelers at the finish.
