Texans defeated the Dolphins, 45-9. M.Brewer set the tone for Houston, passing for 242 yards and throwing 2 touchdown passes as the Texans kept control of the game. He found M.Harrison Jr for 2 touchdowns, and the wideout added 102 receiving yards to give the offense its sharpest edge. That combination gave the Texans the kind of production Miami could not match. The Dolphins had their moments through the air in defeat, with N.Newberry passing for 206 yards and J.Waddle finishing with 71 receiving yards. Miami moved the ball often enough to show some life, but it never translated into a serious pushback. Against a Texans offense that kept striking, those efforts were not enough to change the outcome.
