Jaguars defeated the Rams, 35-17. R. Thompson set the tone for Jacksonville with 311 passing yards and 2 touchdown passes, giving the Jaguars the kind of efficient production that kept them in command. He found a reliable target in B. Thomas Jr, who finished with 132 receiving yards and helped stretch the field throughout the night. That combination gave the Jaguars the offensive edge they needed to finish as winners. The Rams had their moments in defeat behind C. DuVall, who threw for 310 yards and added 1 touchdown pass while trying to keep Los Angeles within reach. P. Nacua provided a steady answer in the passing game with 99 receiving yards, supplying much of the Rams' push. Even with that production, the Rams were chasing a Jaguars offense that proved sharper when it mattered most.
