Jaguars defeated the Browns, 48-29. Jacksonville had the sharper edge on a day when its offense kept pressure on Cleveland. B. Tuten gave the Jaguars a big-play presence in the passing game, finishing with 118 receiving yards and helping fuel the winning effort. That production gave Jacksonville the kind of lift it needed to stay in control. Cleveland had its own answer through the air, even in defeat. T. McBride turned in a strong performance with 145 receiving yards, providing the Browns with a steady source of offense throughout the loss. It was a productive showing, but the Browns could not match the Jaguars’ finishing punch.
