Dolphins defeated the Jets, 35-9. N.Newberry set the tone for Miami, throwing 4 touchdown passes while passing for 258 yards. He kept the Dolphins in command with an efficient, aggressive night through the air, and D.Metcalf gave that attack a dangerous edge with 107 receiving yards. That combination gave Miami the punch it needed to put the game away. The Jets found some production in the passing game despite the loss. D.Melton passed for 267 yards, and G.Wilson was his most effective target with 89 receiving yards. But while New York moved the ball through the air, the Dolphins finished their chances far more decisively.
