Eagles defeated the Lions, 52-44. J.Hurts set the tone with 3 touchdown passes and 319 yards, giving Philadelphia the kind of command it needed in a high-scoring win. He had steady help from A.Brown, who finished with 96 receiving yards and remained a central piece of the Eagles' attack. The Eagles made their chances count through the air, and Hurts' production put them in control of the outcome. Detroit answered with plenty of firepower in defeat, as J.Goff threw 5 touchdown passes and piled up 466 yards. S.LaPorta was the Lions' biggest problem for the Eagles' defense, finishing with 170 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. The Lions generated more than enough offense to threaten throughout, but their big night still ended on the wrong side of the result.
