Bears defeated the Vikings, 35-7. Chicago got enough from M. Penix Jr, who passed for 118 yards, and J. Cook III added 32 receiving yards as the Bears dictated the terms. The Bears did not need overwhelming volume to stay in control, and their offense consistently found the right answers. Penix kept things steady, and Chicago turned that efficiency into a decisive result. Minnesota had flashes in the loss behind J. McCarthy, who threw 1 touchdown pass and finished with 138 yards. J. Jefferson also supplied 50 receiving yards, giving the Vikings a reliable threat in the passing game. But even with that production, Minnesota spent the day chasing a Bears team that never loosened its grip.
