Bengals defeated the Bears, 48-42. J.Burrow drove the Bengals with 4 touchdown passes and 407 yards, giving Cincinnati the kind of aerial command that could survive a shootout. T.Higgins was central to that push, turning 2 touchdown catches into a punishing night for the Bears and piling up 146 receiving yards. That connection gave the Bengals the answers whenever the game demanded another surge. The Bears had plenty of firepower in defeat behind M.Penix Jr, who threw 5 touchdown passes and 353 yards. D.Moore answered with 3 touchdown grabs, while C.Loveland added 159 receiving yards to keep pressure on the Bengals throughout. Chicago produced like a winner on offense, but Burrow and Higgins were just a little sharper when it mattered most.
