Giants defeated the Armadillos, 38-21. J.Dart set the tone for New York, throwing 3 touchdown passes while passing for 268 yards. He consistently found room to work through the air, and M.Nabers gave the Giants a big lift with 118 receiving yards. That combination kept the Giants in control and provided the offensive edge they needed. The Armadillos had their moments in defeat behind B.Purdy, who threw 2 touchdown passes and finished with 195 yards. G.Kittle remained a steady part of the attack with 84 receiving yards. Even with that production, the Armadillos could not match the Giants’ efficiency through the air.
