Panthers defeated the Falcons, 38-7. B.Young threw 4 touchdown passes and finished with 219 yards, setting the tone for a Panthers offense that found its rhythm through the air. T.McMillan was his sharpest weapon, turning his chances into 2 touchdown catches that kept Carolina in command. J.Sanders added 80 receiving yards, giving Young another reliable option as the Panthers dictated the game. Atlanta still found some production in the loss, with C.Williams passing for 131 yards and a touchdown. Those flashes, however, were not enough to match the Panthers’ efficiency once Young and McMillan took control. The Falcons had moments through the air, but Carolina’s playmakers delivered the decisive work.
