Game of the Week Recap

Lions defeated the Broncos, 24-13. A.St. Brown gave the Lions their sharpest edge in the passing game, finishing with 91 receiving yards and helping Detroit stay in command. The Lions did not need a flood of fireworks so much as steady control, and they found it through their ability to capitalize when chances arrived. That was enough to carry them to the win and keep the Broncos chasing from behind. Denver still found some life through M.Mims Jr, who turned in 65 receiving yards and provided a bright spot in the loss. The Broncos showed flashes, but they could not match the consistency the Lions brought across the afternoon. In the end, Denver had to settle for a strong individual effort without the result to go with it.
