The Patriots returned home week 14 to square off against the Raiders. Riding a 8 game winning streak, New England made quick work of oakland grabbing the lead early and never looking back. Tom Brady had a perfect passer rating and went a perfect 15/15 throwing leading the way to what ended up being a blow out. 38-13.

The Pats rolled into week 10 on a 4 game winning streak and was sitting at a solid but still disappointing 5-3 on the year, tied for 1st place in the AFC East lead with the Jets. This week was round 2 vs the division rival Dolphins. The game was a much closer game than the week one slaughter then Pats laid on the dolphins, but regardless the Pats walked away with the W, 38-35. Moving the Winning streak to 5 games.

After starting the first quarter of the season 1-3, The Pats were desperately trying to find a way to end their losing ways. Week 5 was a matchup with division rival Buffalo Bills. The game was back and fourth throughout, but he Pats were able to stop their losing streak, beating the Bills 33-30 moving to 2-3 on the year. The Pats started the 2020 season with high expectations after going 11-5 and losing in the wildcard round of the playoffs last season. Their schedule seemed to be a little easier on paper and they were able to upgrade at a ton of positions on the field (especially RB) in the offseason. The average age of the roster went up.. With the Patriots sitting a 7-5 after the first 13 weeks, The Patriots needed to come out with at least 3 wins in 4 games to secure a spot in the playoffs. With as many as 6 teams tied in the AFC at 7-5, any slight slip up would have cost the Pats a playoff bid.
