League Settings



  • Difficulty: All Madden
  • Game Style: Simulation
  • Quarter Length: 7 Minutes
  • Accelerated Clock: ON
  • Coaches: Custom Coaches
  • Trait Regression: OFF
  • Play Cooldown: 5
  • Play Limit: 10





General Gameplay Rules



  • All away teams must stream their games
  • No playing CPU or User on auto
     
    • Violation = Force Win for opponent
    • Repeated offenses will result in forfeited games

  • Practice Squad Stealing
     
    • Opens Week 9 (after trade deadline)

  • Playoff Teams
     
    • Cannot sign free agents or steal from practice squads
    • Restriction lasts until eliminated from playoffs

  • Pausing
     
    • No pausing while on defense during live gameplay
    • You must call a timeout






DEFENSIVE RULES



  • Must rush at least 3 defensive linemen at all times
  • No chasing WRs with DL (DT or DE)
  • No nano blitzing
  • You may move:
     
    • Safeties
    • Corners
    • Linebackers
       (Only within realistic coverage areas)

  • No running FG block defense to stop short-yardage plays
  • Safeties may be used as Sub LBs only
     
    • Nickel & Dime formations
    • Depth chart specialists only

  • Manually shooting gaps with MLB to insta-sack or hit RB (nano-style) is NOT allowed
     
    • Exception: Goal-line defense only






OFFENSIVE RULES



  • Record the Game Rule
     
    • If you suspect cheating:
       
      • Contact a commissioner
      • Record the game

    • No video = no proof
    • Streaming satisfies this requirement

  • Only 1 scum kick per half
     
    • Kicking to FB to the 20 repeatedly is not allowed
    • We are not playing lobby ball

  • Dual halfbacks
     
    • Allowed in Shotgun & Pistol
    • No speed limits






No-Huddle Rules



  • No-huddle allowed after a first down
  • No no-huddle after a negative play
  • If no first down is achieved:
     
    • You must select a new play

  • No-huddle allowed:
     
    • Under 2 minutes before halftime
    • Under 2 minutes in the 4th quarter

  • Defense must be allowed to set before the snap
  • Motion rules:
     
    • Motioned WR/HB must be set before snap
    • Auto-motion is allowed
    • Suspected foul play:
       
      • Call timeout
      • Record video evidence







4TH DOWN RULES

  • •4th & 1:Must punt if not past the 50-yard line
    • Once across the 50, anything goes.

  • •4th & inches: Go for it anywhere on the field

  • •Down by 14 or more
     
    • You may go for it at any time


  • No squib kicks
     
    • Unless you are losing

  • 1 fake punt per half allowed
  • No 4th down restrictions in the 4th quarter
  • CHEW CLOCK IS NOT ALLOWED — PERIOD
     
    • Violation = automatic loss






ROSTER MANAGEMENT




Superstar / X-Factor Rule



  • Superstar or X-Factor players:
     
    • Can only be moved once
    • No moving them back

  • Violation results in:
     
    • 4-game suspension
    • Ability downgraded to Star

  • No changing positions to gain extra XP
     
    • If caught:
       
      • Player development will be reduced







Roster Requirements



  • Teams must carry:
     
    • 3 TEs, or
    • 2 TEs + 1 FB

  • 3rd TE slot
     
    • TE or FB only
    • No LT/RT allowed






Position Change Rules



  • WR → TE
     
    • Min 6’3, 225 lbs
    • Max 82 speed

  • DB → LB
     
    • Min 225 lbs
    • Max 82 speed

  • RB → FB
     
    • Min 225 lbs
    • Max 82 speed
    • Non-natural FBs may not exceed 82 speed

  • TE → FB
     
    • Max 86 speed

  • WR → HB: Not allowed
  • HB → WR: Not allowed
  • HB → QB: Not allowed
  • CB → LB: Not allowed
  • FS/SS → LB
     
    • Min 225 lbs
    • Max 82 speed

  • LB → Safety
     
    • Must be 200–225 lbs

  • DT
     
    • Must be over 265 lbs

  • DE ↔ LB: Allowed
  • CB ↔ Safety: Allowed (weight/speed rules apply)
  • QB & OL can NEVER be moved
  • Only TEs may be listed at TE on depth chart
  • No MLB at DT
  • No CB at LB





GAME DISCONNECTS



  • Games must be recreated with:
     
    • Same score
    • Same time
    • Same possession

  • Restart only if both parties agree
  • If game is clearly decided in the 2nd half:
     
    • Game may be counted

  • Never count a close game unless losing team agrees
  • Communicate and use common sense





TRADE RULES



  • No trades without committee approval
  • Submit:
     
    • DaddyLeagues player attribute card
    • After approval, post DaddyLeagues trade calculator card in trade chat

  • New owners must play 4 games before trading
  • 3 players max traded per season
  • All rookies and traded players
     
    • Must remain on roster one full season
