The game's top defenders excel in all situations. When they enter the zone, this ability increases their chance of defeating run blocks, and disrupting catches via tackles.

Fearmonger

Some pass rushers intimidate quarterbacks with their sheer presence. When they enter the zone, they can apply significant pressure on quarterbacks even while engaged with blockers.

Edge Threat

Defenders with this ability use faster, more dominant pass rush moves while rushing from the edge of the defense.

Run Stopper

Defenders with this ability do not need to spend a point on shed attempts during a run play

Secure Tackler

Defenders with this ability have an increased success rate when using conservative or diving tackles.

Under Pressure

Defenders with this ability can apply pressure to the quarterback from a greater distance.

Run Stuffer

Run Stuffers can singlehandedly disrupt an offense. When they enter the zone, this ability increases their win rate and block shed speed against one-on-one run blocks.

Inside Stuff

Defenders with this ability use faster run shed moves for a better chance at shedding blocks against inside run plays.

No Outsiders

Defenders with this ability use faster run shed moves for a better chance at shedding blocks against outside zone plays.

Out My Way

Defenders with this ability will frequently attempt and win impact blocks against receivers, tight ends, and running backs.

Relentless

The most tenacious defenders beat their blocks by sheer force of will. When they enter the zone, their rush move attempts are free.

Adrenaline Rush

Pass rushers with this ability will heal some of their fatigue after sacking the QB

Defensive Rally

Defenders with this ability will repair the fatigue of all defensive linemen on any 3rd or 4th down

Double Or Nothing

Pass rushers with this ability must spend twice as much stamina to perform a move but are granted dominant wins

El Toro

Defenders with this ability have a chance to receive dominant bull rush wins when their stamina is full. This consumes additional stamina.

Instant Rebate

Defenders with this ability are refunded stamina when they successfully shed blocks

Mid Zone KO

Defenders with this ability force more catch knockouts and react quicker in any mid-field zone coverage, less than 20 yards from the LoS inside the numbers and 10-20 outside.

Outmatched

Defenders with this ability are highly likely to force catch knockouts against running backs.

Ripper

Defenders with this ability will ignore one bar of blocker resistance when attempting rip pass rush moves

Max Effort

Defenders with this ability do not need to spend stamina on shed attempts during a run play

Spinner

Defenders with this ability will ignore one bar of blocker resistance when attempting spin pass rush moves

Unpredictable

Defenders with this ability are less likely to increase their blocker's resistance bars when performing shed wins

Run Committed

Defenders with this ability will dominantly win run blocks when they correctly use the Guess Play adjustment to predict a run. Incorrect guesses will result in a loss.

Pass Committed

Defenders with this ability will win pass blocks when they correctly use the Guess Play adjustment to predict a pass. Incorrect guesses will result in a loss.

Persistent

Players with this ability are harder to knock out of The Zone

Interior Threat

Defenders with this ability use faster; more dominant pass rush moves while rushing from the interior of the defensive line.

Enforcer Supreme

Defenders with this ability allow fewer broken tackles; cause heavy fatigue penalties; and will clear a ballcarrier's progress towards entering the zone when landing a hit-stick.
